GT036 Air-Block

The Heavy Duty rectangular floor grommet features an integrated soft EDPM gasket that forms a seal around cables thereby eliminating air movement through the cable pass and preventing debris from entering the floor void.  The GT036 is an excellent choice for both general office and data centre installation delivering large cable capacity and sealing air gaps. The sealing of cable pass openings is important on many levels. If the raised floor void is being utilised as an air plenum then a good air seal helps maintain the air plenum pressure allowing for  optimum cooling preformance and the associated cost savings. In a general office installation a good air seal improves the comfort level for desk occupants and has been known to also prevent vermin from passing through the cable grommet opening.

The standard gasket has removable cable knockouts to cushion seal larger diameter conduits and cables. Custom gasket seals can be made to meet specific project requirements.

The GT036 Air-Block splits into (2) halves to facilitate easy cable installation. The grommet is then "snapped" together and fitted into the floor cut out. 4 quick action screws lock the grommet firmly to the floor panel. Exposed screws can be finished with a cap plug that matches the grommet surface. The large gasketed cable opening 150mm x 60mm will comfortable fit 6no. 25mm diameter conduits. 

The GT036 grommet is supplied with an integrated safety cover which seals the cable opening prior to cable installation and eliminates the site issues open holes present before and during fit out. The GT036 is performance loaded tested up to 450kg without failure.
